Duality
Completed in 2002, this sculpture is carved from Utah Alabaster Green/Red 
(9" x 10" x 9"). 
Duality is a concept close to many of our philosophical and religious precepts.  Here the concept manifests on the level of interior vs exterior, relationships and belonging.  The feeling expressed is of curling in within ones self and of separating from that cocoon.
