Passage Through
Fire
Completed in 2007,
this sculpture is carved from Honeycomb Calcite-Utah on a Green
Alabaster Base (22"(h) x 16" x 10").
The
rite of passage, the path that makes the traveler stronger, burns away
what is extraneous, refines what is valued and important, as steel is
tempered.
